These terms keep FindBack useful, safe, and fair for users, item owners, finders, and verified organizations.
Acceptable use
Use FindBack only for lawful, honest lost and found activity. Do not post illegal, explicit, abusive, stolen, fake, misleading, harassing, or unsafe content.
Truthful posts and claims
Users must provide honest information. Do not submit false claims, claim items that are not yours, impersonate others, or use hidden details to mislead reviewers.
Account restrictions
FindBack may restrict, suspend, or remove accounts involved in fraud, abuse, spam, unsafe behavior, repeated false claims, or policy violations.
Organization responsibilities
Organizations are responsible for their own staff access, collection rules, retention policies, handover instructions, and the decisions they make when reviewing submissions or claims.
No guaranteed recovery
FindBack helps people, items, and organizations connect, but does not guarantee that an item will be found, recovered, verified, returned, shipped, or held for any specific period.
Moderation and removal
FindBack may remove unsafe content, hide posts from public view, request changes, reject organization submissions, or preserve records where needed for trust, safety, legal, or operational reasons.
