FindBack supports lost property recovery, but each recovery depends on the item, people involved, and organization policies where applicable.
FindBack is a connection platform
FindBack helps connect users, items, and organizations. It does not own, inspect, insure, or physically hold items unless that is explicitly stated for a future service.
Organizations set their own rules
Verified organizations may set their own collection, retention, identification, handover, storage, and shipping policies. Users must follow the relevant organization policy.
Items may be held for limited time
Organizations may keep items for a limited period, dispose of items under their own policy, or require proof before collection. Recovery is not guaranteed.
Shipping and collection
Shipping, pickup, courier, or collection arrangements are between the user and the organization unless FindBack adds an explicit platform payment or shipping service later.
No guaranteed recovery
FindBack can help surface reports, support private verification, and guide communication, but it cannot guarantee that an item will be found, held, identified, collected, shipped, or returned.
